At Carolinas Hospital System, our outstanding team of more than 260 physicians representing a broad range of specialties and medical support staff is fully equipped to handle a broad spectrum of health care needs. We are committed to the patient, as an individual, from birth and throughout every chapter of life beginning with perinatal/maternity to neonatal services and pediatrics.
The expertise of our surgeons is enhanced by eleven dedicated operating suites including one specially designed for open heart surgery. All operating suites are equipped with advanced technology for use in laser and endoscopic procedures including neurosurgery, vascular, orthopedic, gynecological and ophthalmological surgery.
Other departments provide diagnostic services, women's health services, cancer services, cardiac care, rehabilitation services, emergency/trauma services and community wellness facilities and programs. Carolinas Hospital System cares not just for the individual, but for the entire family and community.
In addition, three dedicated cystoscopy suites for urological procedures feature advanced equipment with dedicated imaging capability. The specially designed units promote better patient care.
